the twenty-first century economic paradigm
geographical borders are vanishing and unique
opportunities for economic advancement are
presenting themselves as never before. It was
with this in mind that the Africa Technology
Forum, a not-for-profit organization, was
founded. It was the intention of the founders
that the forum act as a magnet for African
entrepreneurs and companies with interests in
Africa to network, exchange new ideas and form
bonds that would serve as the building blocks
for a new generation of thinking and
entrepreneurship. This truly will represent a
